Fold Me

I’m working on a new album, so I’ll be sharing links and posting music stuff for a while. If you want to support, I really appreciate it.

If it’s not your thing, no worries. 🙂

Rock on!

Prison fights overnight
Leaving you to understand
Traffic lights who is right
Leaving you to understand

And I fly on a wing and a prayer
And I try forget all that is there

Prison fights overnight
Who was right
Leaving you to understand

If you fold me
Hold me under again

Faded roses off the vine
You keep yours and I’ll burn mine
Snapshots yellowed over time
Chill the glass that’s left behind

And I fly on a wing and a prayer
And I try forget all that is there

Faded roses off the vine
You keep yours and I’ll burn mine

If you fold me
Hold me under again

A is A

I wrote the following song in honor of Ayn Rand.

The idea was based on her book, Anthem. If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend it. It’s a quick read and has a great theme.

Oh, and if you dig the song and have a few minutes to spare, go here and kindly leave a review on Amazon. Greatly appreciated!

One of the biggest problems we all face right now is tyranny, brought about by censorship. Our right to call it like we see it can’t be usurped from us unless we allow it.

Might be time to fight back and reclaim what was ours all along…

Just a thought.

Hope everyone’s having a great weekend, stay frosty!

Note: These are very confusing times, friend. So, if you’re new to my blog, start here for a background on the topics I mostly cover.

Happy Birthday!

It’s almost impossible to keep a steady eye on the passage of time lately. The days, weeks and even years all seem to just blend together as they pass on by.

That being said, I just realized that the album Idle Hands has already passed its one-year mark. A year out already? No freaking way.

Missed it by one day.

Here’s a couple of tracks, just in case you’re unfamiliar with it.

My band has another album on its way (which is what I’m supposed to be working on right now) and it should be out later this year.

My goal is basically to get it finished, get it released before the end of the world. We’ll see how that goes.

It’s interesting putting together another album after having spent the last year blogging so much. Not sure if it helps or hinders.

Well, that’s it. Just a quick post to celebrate something I think is worthwhile.

Hope everyone’s having a great afternoon, rock on!

Reaching Way Back – Chong

The cover picture is of my first album to make it into the stores (the old, brick and mortar kind your grandpappy used to shop at).

Then, I decided to go on a search, see what’s still hanging on.

Wouldn’t you know. Go on a treasure hunt into the past and find something cool. Look what’s been hiding in the shadows of a long forgotten internet since 2013.

2013, mind you!

Sheesh! They had the internet back then… who knew?

Chong

We only move in shadows
We only deal in darkness
We never dream in color
We never can be bothered

This is not my life
This is not my life

Release your soul, fly
Sequence your thoughts, try
Open your mind, wide, wide

We only move in shadows
We only deal in darkness
We never dream in color
We never can be bothered

This is not my life
This is not my life

Release your soul, fly
Sequence your thoughts, try
Open your mind, wide, wide

This is not my life
This is not my life

And I found a picture of this little guy, but sadly, not the real item. I don’t think I have a working cassette player anyway, but it would have been cool.

Have a great day, go discover what’s hidden in plain sight!

Gen X

The lost generation continues on as it always has. Gen X is a tribute, a last ditch effort to recognize an entire generation that’s been shafted, overshadowed by their parents, and glossed over by their children.

Gen X exists.
