I’m working on a new album, so I’ll be sharing links and posting music stuff for a while. If you want to support, I really appreciate it.

Rock on!

Who stole the Rice Krispies?
I so desperately wanted a bowl
to fill my soul oh whoa

On a day like today
try to convince me
it's probably time to go home
Where's my phone?

When you walked out on me
it was special, so special
It's so easy to see
that it's special, so special

In a tree by the brook
a songbird was singing
humans leave me alone
and just go home

So I ran to the cellar
haunted by spirits and ghouls
leave me alone
yes, go home...
oh just go

When you walked out on me
it was special, so special
It's so easy to see
that it's special, so special

Who stole the Rice Krispies?
I so desperately wanted a bowl
to save my soul oh whoa

In a box underground
salted and brittle and old
leave me alone pinnacle home

When you walked out on me
it was special, so special
It's so easy to see
that it's special, so special

Have a great day, do with it as you will!

  1. So many things to like about this song :)! The lyrics have an interesting irreverence, humor and sadness is a good combo. I agree with Christopher, I like the imagery too, the Rice Krispies + ghouls is awesome and the vocals go well with the mood. Cool video too. Reminds me of the 80s, my favorite time musically.

  2. A unique and well written perspective on the ending of a relationship.

Bringing in Rice Crispies, songbirds who want to be left alone from humans and haunted cellars full of spirits and ghouls.

I love your use of images and metaphors.
