We should hide this small town, tuck it away far beyond the reach of those who would burn it, mindlessly reducing it to embers.
Driven by equal parts of both hope and consternation, the future hangs by a thread upon the wall, ever so slightly out of balance.

There’s something about the gentle way water can flow unheeded over a bed of rocks.
This stream called me back.
